When I was five years old, almost a decade before the invention of personal computers, a clean-cut looking geek named Doug Engelbart demonstrated an assortment of never before seen technologies, that our children now take for granted, and which still baffle, astound and defeat many adults my age (and younger). There are those geeks who now call this event the Mother Of All Demos. Doug E. was one bad ass geek!
